On March 23rd 2023 the top elites of the Belgian ICT & Digital community descended upon the Ghelamco Arena in Ghent to attend the 2023 edition of This is IT. This major event is the IT sector’s version of High Mass for celebrating coaching leadership, where the highly prestigious ICT & Digital Coach of the Year Award is finally presented! This year’s winner was Sophie Van Nevel, Global IT Lead Strategy & Governance at Bekaert.

Since March 23rd, Sophie will hold the title of ICT & Digital Coach of the Year for one year. Her team at Bekaert also receives a cheque for 7500 euros as a gift to use towards a fun, educational or bonding team activity.
