Purpose of the position
Â
As IT Manager, the purpose of your position is to oversee and standardize IT operations in accordance with SPB Group's policies. Based in Antwerp – Berchem, this pivotal role reports directly to senior management and offers the opportunity to shape the IT environment.
Responsibilities
Your main responsibilities are:

Lead and coördinate all IT operations and IT service management tasks of the SPB
Benelux branch within SPB Group.

Ensure compliance with global policies regarding information security, data privacy, and
regulatory requirements.

Plan and implement group-wide upgrades, migrations, and innovations.

Coordinate external supplier relationship in the scope of local infrastructure (endpoints,
connectivity) support.

Maintain SPB Benelux' Microsoft 365 tenant in relation to the SPB Group tenant.

Stay ahead of technology trends and contribute to SPB Group's IT strategy.

Focus on application management and product ownership of the in-house built
(Hungarian nearshore team) contract and claim handling platform. Guarantee the
business analyst and project management role for major upgrades.

Focus on information management, maintain and expand the existing information
platform based on Microsoft technology (Synapse analytics for pipelines, SQL Azure for
DWH, PowerBI semantic modeling and dashboarding)
Objectives for the first 12 months
This role is highly important to the organization, and expectations are clear. After 3 months, the IT Manager should have a solid understanding of the company, and by 6 months, be able to present a detailed implementation plan. By 12 months, significant progress on execution is expected.
ReportingÂ
The IT Manager will report directly to the CEO (SPB Benelux) and also ‘in dotted line’ to the Group IT Solution Manager (within SPB Group).

Reason for the vacancy
The reason for this vacancy is to replace the former IT Manager who will take up a new challenge.
This broad role combines multiple responsibilities—ranging from product ownership to project management—offering a high level of variety and constant new challenges.

Profiel
Proven senior IT experience – At least 5 years in a leadership or senior IT management role, ideally within an international or multi-entity organisation.
Â
Hands-on problem solver – Strong analytical skills with the ability to quickly identify issues, propose solutions, and see them through to implementation.
Â
Broad technical expertise – Solid background across infrastructure, application management, information management, and IT service management.
Â
Application & product ownership – Experience managing business-critical applications, preferably in a role combining product owner, business analyst, and project manager responsibilities.
Â
Information management skills – Familiarity with data platforms, BI tools, and cloud-based analytics (Microsoft Azure, Synapse Analytics, SQL, Power BI is a plus).

Change & project leadership – Proven track record in leading migrations, upgrades, and transformation projects, including vendor and stakeholder management.
Â
Compliance mindset – Understanding of information security, GDPR, and ISO standards, with the ability to apply global policies locally.

Communication & collaboration – Excellent interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with cross-functional teams and as the IT contact point for major clients.
