Function
The Solution Architect bridges the gap between business processes and technical implementation, ensuring alignment with the existing enterprise architecture and other domains such as data, integration, security, and infrastructure. You work closely with various architects and software developers within agile teams to ensure a correct implementation of the solution architecture.
This includes realizing an optimal target architecture with attention to consistency within the ICT landscape, coordinating architectural decisions, conducting reviews, and actively contributing to the development of best practices and documentation. Additionally, you are responsible for carefully documenting the architecture, collaborating intensively with fellow architects, clearly communicating the target architecture to agile teams, and anticipating possible conflicts with other transitions.
Profile
Wonen in Vlaanderen is looking for a driven and experienced professional to strengthen the team as a Solution Architect. This is an opportunity to play a crucial role in shaping the IT future of the organization.
You preferably have already gained experience as a Solution Architect. If you don't have that specific experience yet, you have absolutely worked for several years as an Application Architect, where you were responsible for developing technical blueprints and implementing and optimizing software applications. A background as a Development Lead (preferably with .NET technology) is also an excellent foundation, provided you have the ambition to grow into the role of Solution Architect. You possess strong knowledge of various cloud platforms, services, and architectures, including IaaS and PaaS, and have proven experience in developing architectural concepts and standards (for example, with Archimate). Furthermore, you are skilled at translating business needs into high-performing and feasible solutions.
