The site www.amon.be is both copyright-protected and a database on which Amon has author and producer rights. The texts, lay-out, images, photos, films, graphics and other elements of this site are protected by copyright. Any copy, adaptation, modification, translation, arrangement, public announcement, rental or other form ofexploitation of the entire site or part of this site, under any form and by any means, either electronic, mechanical or other means, is strictly prohibited, except in case of prior and written permission by Amon. The contents of the database is protected by the sui generis right which allows the producer to prohibit any query and/or reuse of the entire contents or part of this contents. The names, logos and other marks used on this site, these are the logo and the name of Amon, are trademarks and/or names that are legally protected. Any use of these and or similar marks is striclty prohibited without prior and written notice by Amon.

Privacy statement
1. About this Privacy statement
Amon values the protection of your privacy. Our objective is therefore to process your personal data in a legal, fair and transparent way.
The current Privacy statement relates to all personal data collected and processed by Amon, with head office at 9051 Gent, P. Van Reysschootlaan 2/103.
This Privacy statement explains which information about you we collect, what we use this information for and to whom we transfer this information. This Privacy statement also tells you what rights you have and how you can exercise them.
‘Personal data’: personally identifiable data, i.e. which directly or indirectly say something about you as a person (name, address, phone number, etc.).
‘Data controller’: the ‘owner’ of certain personal data. This may be Amon itself, or a third party (for example our customers).
‘Processor’: the person who effectively processes the data. This may be Amon (as service provider), or a third party who processes Amon’s data.
‘Candidate’: a natural person who registered with Amon.
2. Amon as data controller
Amon processes personal data of natural persons with whom we have, had or want to have a direct or indirect relationship.
It concerns the personal data of customer and supplier contacts, the personal data of Candidates, but also potential customer contacts of Amon and the personal data of potential employees.
In this sense Amon can collect or obtain the following personal data about you:
Identity data
Personal characteristics
History of contacts
Data relating to your academic curriculum and professional experience
Data relating to your occupation
Complaints you lodge or requests you send us
The processing of these personal data is necessary:
– To carry out our services: Amon, a recruitment agency, processes personal data of Candidates to be able to offer you, the Candidate, suitable vacancies. In addition, we process personal data of Candidates to be able to propose suitable Candidates to our Customers.
– To maintain our customer management and improve our customer relationship: Amon collects personal data of its customer contacts for an efficient communication and to improve our relationship by keeping you up to date of our services via mailings. Apart from identity data and possible interests on your part, we don’t keep any other personal data.
– To place orders with suppliers: Amon processes personal data of supplier contacts for an efficient business management.
– To hire new employees: Amon collects personal data with a view to hiring new employees.
We may also collect so-called ‘special categories’ (art. 9 and 10 GDPR) of personal data. In this way we may collect medical data, for example, if this can influence your employment. However, these data are solely processed with your explicit permission. If you request us to process these data or if you make these data public yourself, we only process these data if this is necessary for our services.
In all these situations, Amon is responsible for the protection of these personal data.
The legal ground for this processing lies in:
– The agreement you reached with us for the provision of our services and our legitimate interest with the effective delivery of our services to you;
– Your consent;
– Our legal obligation to keep certain data.
3. Amon as processor
Amon can also process personal data for third parties, more specifically when an applicant is presented by a Customer and Amon only needs to make an assessment. In this situation Amon is the Processor of personal data and the personal data are solely processed under orders of the Customer. These data are never used for another purpose, unless you gave your explicit permission to process your personal data for other purposes.
4. Access by and transfer to third parties
Amon handles your personal data with care and attention and only shares the data required to offer you the best service. Measures are adopted to guarantee that personal data exchanged or shared within Amon are protected.
In the context of our services we notify personal data of our Candidates to our Customers. This is only done with your consent.
In addition, we may transfer your personal data to third parties with whom we work. This concerns service providers who help us in the design and maintenance of our software packages and the management of our servers.
And finally, we use social media applications. We want to point out that all the personal data you put on these social media applications can be read, collected and used by other users of the application. Amon has little or no control over these other users and can therefore not guarantee that all social media applications respect this Privacy statement.
Amon ensures that third parties only have access to the personal data they need to carry out their specific tasks. Under no circumstance do we sell your personal data to third parties.
5. Term of the processing
Amon does not keep your personal data for any longer than is necessary in all reasonableness for the purposes specified in this Privacy statement.
6. Confidentiality and security
Amon adopts the necessary security measures to guarantee a level of security in keeping with the risk whereby in particular the destruction, the loss, the change or the unauthorised provision of or unauthorised access to transferred, retained or otherwise processed data, by accident or unlawfully, are avoided.
Amon, or as the case may be the Processor, keeps the personal data delivered to Amon on servers in Belgium or the European Union.
7. Your rights
You may exercise the following rights by contacting us at privacy@amon.be, subject to attaching a copy of your identity card.
Right of access and rectification:
You have the right of free access to your personal data and to rectify any wrong data.
Right to erasure and restriction:
You have the right to request us to remove your personal data. You hereby acknowledge that if you request the erasure of personal data, certain services may not be available.
You may also request us to restrict the processing of your personal data.
Right to object:
You always have the right to object to the use of your personal data. However, you need to provide serious and legitimate reasons for this.
You can also explicitly object to the processing of your personal data for purposes of direct marketing, for which you don’t need to provide any reasons.
Right of portability:
You have the right to obtain your personal data that we process in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format. You also have the right to transfer these data to other controllers.
Righ of complaint:
You have the right to file a complaint at the Belgian Privacy Commission:
