Function
As a Domain Application Owner, you are the driving force behind the reliability and continuous innovation of a cluster of applications within Jessa Ziekenhuis. In an environment that is rapidly evolving due to the expansion of the Andreaz network and the realization of “Ons Zorgpark,” you ensure that the ICT solutions not only support medical processes but also proactively strengthen them. The essence of your role is twofold:
Guaranteeing operational excellence (80%)
You are responsible for the maximum effectiveness and continuity of the care applications within your domains (Laboratory and Pharmacy or Medical Imaging/MIOT). You act as the substantive anchor point for complex issues and translate the needs from the workplace into robust, secure, and functional configurations. Through in-depth problem analysis and third-line support, you ensure that critical care processes—such as medication dispensing or medical imaging—never stagnate.
Strategic domain ownership (20%)
Alongside daily activities, you take a leading role in transforming the application team into a domain-oriented structure. You transcend incident management to safeguard architectural consistency and uniformity within your specific domain (e.g., Pharmacy/Laboratory or Imaging), collaborating with the two IT architects in the IT team. As a Domain Application Owner, you are the proactive partner for the business; you advise cluster managers on innovation opportunities, manage strategic relationships with external suppliers, and ensure that IT solutions are standardized across the various campuses.
Profile
- You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree and have at least 7 years of relevant work experience in a complex ICT environment. Experience in the medical field is a plus.
- You have proven experience with in-depth problem analysis, where you investigate and resolve complex incidents (such as performance issues or integration errors) at their core, often in collaboration with infrastructure teams or external partners.
- You are accustomed to managing projects from start to finish, from the initial needs analysis on the work floor to the final functional configuration and aftercare.
- You have experience directing external partners and Managed Service Providers based on substantive results and monitoring agreed SLAs.
- You are able to oversee the coherence and quality of functional solutions across an entire domain, striving for uniformity and standardization.
- Preferably, you have an affinity for healthcare processes or specific software such as GLIMS, DaVinci, Apot-V, Sectra, Pacs, MIOT, or medical communication standards (HL7, FHIR).
