Function
The ICT Project Manager is responsible for the correct and timely delivery of one or more ICT infrastructure projects within the Wonen in Vlaanderen Agency. This role is crucial to ensure that technical ICT projects, in collaboration with internal and external parties, are successfully prepared, planned, coordinated, and completed within the defined scope, timing, and budget.
Additionally, the Project Manager will play a significant role in improving and refining the project management methodology within the agency.
Profile
We are looking for an experienced project manager for whom project management is a true profession. You have at least 5 years of structured experience in leading complex technical ICT projects, where you managed diverse stakeholders, budgets, and timelines. Your core expertise is project management, supported by good general ICT knowledge for effective communication with technical teams, and ideally a PRINCE2 certification. Knowledge of agile methods is useful, but your proven project management skills are decisive. You are a unifying communicator, a decisive leader, and a constructive problem-solver who motivates teams and successfully delivers projects. Experience within the Flemish government is a plus, but not a requirement.
