Function
As a Technology Analyst at Contassur Pension Experts, you play a crucial role in the successful transition to a modern IT environment. You ensure technical continuity during the shift from the legacy system to a new cloud-based environment, including systems such as Business Intelligence, Document Management, and Workflow Management. You facilitate collaboration between internal teams and external partners, which is essential for the optimal execution of the Phoenix program. As a liaison between the business, IT department, and external vendors, you ensure that technical issues are addressed quickly and efficiently.
Responsibilities
The Technology Analyst supports and coordinates the technical aspect of the Phoenix program and related projects. This includes defining and realizing architectural guidelines, providing technical analyses based on functional requirements, and facilitating communication between internal and external parties on technical matters. The Technology Analyst also plays a key role in coordinating test environments, data migration, and incident and change management processes. Additionally, they support the Program Manager in planning and monitoring projects and ensure documentation and reporting of technical progress. Through involvement in DRP testing, performance monitoring, and challenging estimates during project planning, the Technology Analyst helps make the right long-term choices. Maintaining technical insights and advising on technological improvements are also part of the responsibilities.
Tasks
- Monitor architectural guidelines within the Phoenix program (and other IT projects) to ensure compliance with technical standards.
- Support the development activities of the external vendor by providing technical analyses based on business and functional requirements, and by coordinating technical topics between the vendor and the organization, such as the hosting platform, IT security, database setup, and integrations.
- Coordinate the technical aspects of test environments, data migration, and interfaces to ensure smooth execution of the program.
- Assist the Program Manager with overall project planning and monitoring, including tracking progress and identifying risks.
- Prepare and maintain technical reports and documentation to provide clarity on progress and technical issues.
- Conduct DRP tests (Disaster Recovery Planning) to test the resilience and recovery capacity of systems.
- Monitor and test the performance of systems and applications to ensure efficiency and reliability.
- Provide technical insights and challenge estimates during project planning to set realistic expectations and timelines.
- Coordinate incident, problem, and change management for the Phoenix application, including managing all related tickets.
- Provide technical analyses for related projects such as Business Intelligence, Document Management, and Workflow Management.
- Assist in the selection of appropriate tools for various projects, including Business Intelligence, Document Management, and Workflow Management.
- Stay updated with technological developments to make recommendations for improvements and ensure that Contassur Pension Experts takes advantage of the latest technological possibilities.
Profile
Experience and Background
- Extensive experience in Technical Analysis or similar roles.
- Proficiency in C#, Angular, and Azure cloud environments is a plus.
- Relevant experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Access, Outlook).
- Practical experience with ITIL and establishing support organizations.
- Experience in vendor management.
- Knowledge of UML.
- Experience with SQL, databases, Power BI, and ETL is a plus.
