To further digitalize and professionalize its organization, Easykit is looking for a (hands-on) IT Manager.

As the IT Manager, you'll be the central point of contact for all IT-related matters within the organization. You'll translate the business strategy into a clear IT vision and lead various digitalization projects. This role involves managing the IT infrastructure and software systems, ensuring IT security, and guiding your two direct colleagues within the IT team. You'll combine strategic insight with a hands-on approach, actively participating in implementation, not just planning.

Your tasks will include:

  • Translating business objectives into a realistic and clear IT strategy, working closely with various internal business owners (sales, purchasing, operations, marketing, HR, and finance).
  • Managing IT infrastructure (servers, networks, hardware, printers, etc.) and coordinating external service providers.
  • Maintaining and optimizing software applications (including ERP).
  • Leading digitalization and automation projects (CRM, webshop, calculation tools, etc.).
  • Monitoring IT policy, security, and procedures.
  • Managing the IT department's budget and setting priorities.
  • Leading and coaching the IT team (2 employees).
  • Actively contributing to IT solutions and support (e.g., scripting, application management).

While you'll primarily work from the headquarters in Rotselaar, you'll also maintain a presence at the 10 different branches in Flanders. This involves regular visits for consultations with local managers, commercial managers, or assisting with the rollout of specific IT projects.

Profile

Easykit is looking for an IT Manager who holds a higher education degree in IT and brings at least 8 years of relevant IT experience. The ideal candidate has prior team leadership experience, preferably within an SME environment, and is a proactive individual with strong strategic insight and a sense of ownership. They should excel at structuring and working process-oriented, with a proven track record as a project leader in various IT initiatives. Essential technical skills include strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, PowerBI, networking, and IT security, along with experience in Active Directory, Exchange, and cloud solutions, with Azure knowledge being a significant advantage. Furthermore, familiarity with Business Central is a strong plus, as is experience with automation and integrations. Beyond technical prowess, the successful candidate will be communicative, approachable, and people-oriented.
