ICT Finance & Controlling Architect @ Lotus Bakeries
AMSP04492
Function
At Lotus Bakeries, global growth and operational excellence go hand in hand. The purpose of this position is to look at the bigger picture and act as the vital bridge between their global business goals and their complex system landscapes, both SAP and non-SAP. Instead of just executing separate IT requests, you design sustainable, end-to-end concepts and respectfully challenge the status quo to help their business work smarter.
You turn complex Finance and Controlling challenges – from consolidation and treasury to rebate systems – into standardized, worldwide solutions. You align stakeholders from corporate finance at headquarters to local plant controllers, ensuring their operations can scale.
In this role, you offer the high-level conceptual view their Team Managers need, while coaching Business Analysts to make cross-functional thinking second nature. You will drive key projects and international expansions, while always maintaining the hands-on mindset to manage IT projects yourself.
Tasks & responsibilities:
- In your role of architect, you take the overall helicopter view over the functional domain of Finance & Controlling, which spans SAP FI, SAP CO & other software solutions in this functional area.
- You think in concepts and you guide the team towards sustainable, end-to-end solutions aligned with the template and the business objectives.
- Next to your architect role, you will work as expert or as project lead in the area of Finance & Controlling. As expert you work hands-on to realize and deploy new functional solutions to cover business needs. As project lead, you deliver projects within scope, time and budget.
- Within this functional domain, you guard the continuous update of the template & the documentation.
- A strong cross-domain perspective is essential, continuously assessing impacts on other functional areas and ensuring integrated, end-to-end processes (e.g. Order-to-Cash, Procure-to-Pay, Record-to-Report).
- You ensure close collaboration with key users from Lotus Bakeries corporate departements, as well as sales offices & manufacturing sites across the world. You guide them on how to make the best use of standard functionality within SAP and other software solutions and you combine this with industry best practices.
Profile
- You have a Master’s degree and a strong experience in the Finance & Controlling ICT domain within a multinational environment.
- You have strong knowledge of the SAP Finance & Controlling modules (FI & CO) and the integration with other SAP modules & solutions (SD, MM, PP, …). You combine this with a broad interest in the entire integrated application landscape, including non-SAP finance & controlling solutions.
- Having participated in an SAP end-to-end roll-out and having managed specific projects in the domain of Finance & Controlling is vital in this role.
- You think beyond your own domain and naturally take a cross-functional and global perspective.
- Experience with complex business topics such as consolidation, treasury management and rebates, as well as experience with tools such as SAP Vendor Invoice Management (VIM) and Concur, is considered an asset.
- We are looking for a strong communicator, able to influence stakeholders and translate complex topics into clear recommendations.
- You thrive in a global IT environment and are comfortable operating in a dynamic, fast-changing context.
