Responsibilities
As a Data & AI Engineer at House of HR, you contribute to the development of advanced data and AI solutions. Your focus includes optimizing data platforms and AI products, implementing and applying AI models, and introducing innovative approaches. By closely collaborating with both business and technical stakeholders, you play a crucial role in understanding their needs and translating them into practical, scalable solutions that support business objectives. This involves ensuring optimal performance, security, and cost-efficiency within the data and AI environments, enabling House of HR to continuously innovate and excel in a dynamic market.
In addition, you share your technical knowledge in promoting and demonstrating House of HR's innovative products. You participate in inspiration sessions and workshops with potential stakeholders, where you present the diverse product offerings and highlight their unique benefits.
Tasks
- Responsible for developing and managing data pipelines on Azure Databricks, focusing on reliability and scalability.
- Expanding the data platform architecture at both House of HR and the various Powerhouses and Boutiques.
- Analyzing data, extending, and debugging data processing code to ensure quality and efficiency.
- Implementing cloud optimization, cost optimization, and stringent security measures to ensure the safety and performance of the infrastructure.
- Collaborating closely with the Functional Analyst to develop innovative solutions that meet stakeholders' specific needs.
- Participating in stakeholder meetings to promote and demonstrate innovative solutions.
- Actively involved in developing and improving existing AI applications in Python, including integrating advanced techniques such as Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Developing and rolling out new proof-of-concepts for AI applications, as well as successfully integrating existing AI products into new companies and projects.
- Effectively communicating with both business stakeholders and technical teams to understand their needs and translate them into practical and scalable technical solutions.
Profile
Experience and Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, ICT, Computer Science, or an equivalent field.
- Initial relevant work experience in data engineering, AI engineering, or a similar role.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Azure.
- Solid programming skills in Python.
- Experience in training or fine-tuning Machine Learning models or applying LLMs for application development.
- Experience with SQL for data analysis.
- Experience with OpenAI GPT models or similar Large Language Models (LLMs) for Natural Language Processing and text generation.
- Knowledge of Docker, (Azure) Databricks, Azure Data Factory, and FastAPI is a plus.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to effectively collaborate with various stakeholders.
