As a Backend Odoo Software Developer, you play a fundamental role in realizing MobilityPlus' ambitions for the future of electric mobility.
You build and maintain the crucial backend systems and the central Odoo ERP system, forming the backbone of our operational efficiency. Your work directly contributes to the creation of efficient and scalable software applications that seamlessly align with the specific needs of MobilityPlus as a leading player in the e-mobility sector. You are essential in streamlining our business processes and laying a solid foundation for our continued growth.
Your expertise in backend development—especially with Odoo—is invaluable to MobilityPlus. You are directly responsible for configuring and customizing our central ERP system, enabling us to optimize business processes, manage data effectively, and realize key integrations with other platforms. Without your skills, we wouldn’t be able to maintain our technological edge in the fast-evolving green mobility market. You are therefore a crucial force in supporting our pioneering position and accelerating the transition to a more sustainable future.
Tasks and Responsibilities
- Develop efficient and scalable software applications.
- Collaborate with other developers and product managers to design and implement software that meets stakeholder needs.
- Develop high-quality business process (ERP) software applications.
- Design, implement, and maintain backend systems and APIs.
- Ensure seamless integrations with other systems.
- Optimize existing code and identify and resolve bugs.
- Research new technologies and best practices to improve development processes.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to a culture of continuous improvement.
Profile
Experience and Background
- Completed degree in Computer Science, Informatics, or a related field.
- Preferably 1–5 years of experience as a Backend Software Engineer.
- Knowledge of, or strong interest in, Python programming.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of databases and SQL is required.
- Experience with ERP/business processes is required; knowledge of Odoo is a significant advantage.
- Familiarity with frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript is a welcome addition.
