Function
As ICT Applications Manager, you bridge application strategy, project delivery, and day-to-day operations for the Brussels and Luxembourg offices. Additionally, you build a strong relationship with the Amsterdam office. You will join an environment undergoing full digital transformation.
Key priorities and challenges include:

Stakeholder Management & Alignment: Bridging differences in local needs and regulations by fostering close cross-border alignment with the IT team in Amsterdam, without losing Belgian and Luxembourg operational agility.

Business Partnering & Impact: Actively engaging with practice groups and management. You translate complex legal and operational challenges into practical, secure digital solutions, driving the visibility of IT across the firm.

Leading Critical Projects: Taking direct ownership of major transformation initiatives, such as implementing new compliance workflows and modernizing the data platform and reporting capabilities.

Continuity & Innovation: Supporting a 24/7 working environment for lawyers with a strict zero-downtime standard, while streamlining the application ecosystem and preparing it for the future.

Background & Experience

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Engineering, or equivalent through experience.

Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of experience in IT Application Management, Systems Architecture, or IT Project Delivery.

Industry Experience: Experience in Professional Services (such as Legal, Financial Services, Audit, or Consulting) handling highly confidential corporate data is strongly preferred.

Domain Knowledge: Experience with enterprise applications such as PMS/ERP, DMS , compliance platforms, or data warehousing is a plus

The firm advises a prestigious client base, including BEL20 companies, multinationals, financial institutions, private equity funds, and public sector authorities. Stibbe competes directly with major international (US/UK) firms while maintaining complete independence.
The firm operates out of Brussels, Amsterdam, Luxembourg, and London. The Brussels office employs approximately 230 to 250 professionals, comprising around 150 lawyers (including 31 partners) and 75 to 80 Business Services staff.
