As a Technical Lead (Salesforce), you are the architect and visionary who sets the technical direction for the further professionalization of the platform. You go beyond purely operational support and helpdesk management, bringing structural Salesforce expertise and governance to the core of the organization.
You will have the unique opportunity to take on a crucial pioneering role. You will translate complex business requirements and complex integration issues (with, among others, learning platforms such as Google for Education and government databases) into a robust, secure, and scalable Salesforce architecture. In addition, you will take functional leadership over the internal development team. You will challenge them, elevate their technical maturity, and introduce modern engineering standards, without bearing direct hierarchical responsibility.
Profile
For this strategic key role, we are seeking a driven IT professional with a minimum of 5 to 7 years of in-depth experience within the Salesforce ecosystem. You ideally have a proven track record in a leading or architectural role, such as Salesforce Developer, Solution Architect, or Technical Lead. You combine strong technical depth—including demonstrable hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components, SOQL/SOSL, and API integrations—with a natural talent for functional leadership. You have a proven track record in coaching and guiding developers and know how to structure processes around code quality, Git versioning, and release management (CI/CD pipelines). Additionally, you bring strong expertise in integrating Salesforce with external systems, such as identity providers, enterprise service buses, or learning platforms. Finally, an Agile mindset is a given for you; experience within a Scrum or SAFe environment is essential to be able to switch gears smoothly in this dynamic landscape.

The Agency for Integration and Civic Integration (AgII) is the externally autonomous agency (EVA) of the Flemish government that works daily for an inclusive and welcoming society where origin is not a barrier. The agency is the driving force behind the core domains of living together and language, civic integration, and orientation towards Dutch language courses.
With an extremely diverse and practically oriented offering, AgII supports newcomers, local authorities, organizations, and companies in constructively and positively managing the societal consequences of migration. They achieve this through four strong pillars:
- Civic Integration Pathways: Intensive, personal guidance for newcomers in Flanders (with the exception of Antwerp and Ghent – represented by local agencies) and Brussels. These pathways include social orientation (learning about living and working in Belgium), Dutch language courses, a targeted path to employment, and a participation pathway (such as a buddy project or internship).
- Living Together and Language: Proactively supporting local actors and municipalities in removing language barriers. AgII advises on accessible services, helps find suitable courses, and stimulates local community cohesion.Social
- Interpreting and Translation: The organization of professional training for certified social interpreters, as well as the effective deployment of interpreters to bridge communication barriers in formal and informal contexts.
- Legal Services: A highly valued, specialized helpdesk (accessible via www.vreemdelingenrecht.be) and a broad range of training on aliens law and international family law for governments and organizations.
