BontexGeo is currently in a phase of international expansion and professionalization. To support this growth, the group has chosen to make an ambitious digital catch-up move within its application landscape, replacing various local systems (such as MFPPRO, QAD, SAP, Business Central, and Wavesoft)—some of which are outdated or insufficiently performant—with one uniform group standard. At the heart of this digital transformation is the implementation of Odoo 18, which will serve as the central backbone for all business processes across the group. As an IT Business Analyst, you are the indispensable link between the operational business and BontexGeo’s technological future.
As the driving force behind this transformation, you will take full ownership of the ERP governance and ensure the right balance between group-wide standards and local business needs.
- Implementation Lead: You will manage the rollout across different countries and ensure that all entities work according to the group blueprint and efficient standardized processes.
- Strategic Partner Management: You will closely manage the external implementation partner, ensuring quality and timing while critically overseeing the translation of business processes into the system.
- Bridge Builder & Coach: You will build a strong international network of key users and guide them through the change process with clear training and documentation. You will personally be responsible for training the key users.
- Data & BI Sparring Partner: In close collaboration with the BI specialist, you will safeguard data integrity. You will contribute to building Power BI reports to unlock strategic data insights from Odoo and other applications.
- Technical Conscience: You will coordinate the development teams and determine which new developments should be prioritized based on business value. You will also contribute to the further evolution of the application landscape, including the integration of CRM and PIM systems and the interaction with production registration tools such as Ignition.
- Quality Guardian: You will take the lead in the testing phases and ensure that data and processes are fully go-live ready.
Profile
Experience and Background
- You have experience leading ERP implementations within an international manufacturing environment.
- Experience with Odoo 18 is a significant advantage, as this platform is becoming the new standard across the group.
- You combine process knowledge in finance and supply chain with a strong technical affinity or interest in data, integrations, and BI reporting.
- You have experience managing external implementation partners and technical teams based on clear deliverables and quality standards.
- You are used to working in a multi-company environment and have the ambition to eventually take full responsibility for the entire application IT landscape.
