By working closely with internal and external stakeholders to successfully realize projects and by playing an active role in further developing the maturity of IT project management, you will contribute directly to the digital transformation and DP World's objective to excel in operational excellence and customer focus.
This role is essential for the smooth execution of critical IT infrastructure projects that contribute to the operational reliability, scalability, and digital transformation of the organization. In addition to leading teams in building and maintaining the implemented infrastructure, you will also manage and evaluate potential risks and sustainability.
Your responsibilities include:

Project Planning and Execution: Drawing up detailed project plans, allocating the right resources, and strictly managing schedules, ensuring that IT infrastructure projects are successfully executed and delivered to contribute to the technological growth of the organization.

Stakeholder Management: In this role, you will work intensively with both internal IT and business teams as well as external partners, taking responsibility for proactive communication and tight expectation management throughout the entire project lifecycle.

Risk and Issue Management: Identifying and managing risks and issues at an early stage through concrete mitigating actions.

Budget and Resource Management: In addition to substantive steering, you are fully responsible for the project budget and the deployment of resources, closely monitoring the scope, planning, and quality within the set financial limits.

Quality and Compliance: You ensure that all project deliverables strictly comply with internal quality standards and relevant regulations, including all security requirements, while guaranteeing a smooth handover to the operational teams. Furthermore, you focus on continuous improvement by thoroughly evaluating completed projects and structurally optimizing processes and approaches based on lessons learned.
Profile
Experience and Background

Education: At least a Bachelor’s degree in IT, Economics, a technical field, or equivalent through professional experience.

Professional Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience in project management within an infrastructure environment.

Operational Bridge: Proven experience in bridging the gap between operational management and project execution, preferably within IT infrastructure projects.

Methodologies & Tools: Proficiency in project methodologies (e.g., stage-gate) and fluency in tools such as MS Project. You also bring experience in implementing structure and standardization within project environments.

Technical Breadth: Knowledge of a wide range of technologies, including storage and network architecture, data centers, cloud, and hybrid environments.

Project Maturity: Experience in increasing project maturity levels, for example, by developing processes, portfolio management, or project templates.

Financial & Lifecycle Management: Experience with projects at the intersection of CAPEX and OPEX, such as hardware lifecycle management (printers, data centers), and familiarity with project budgets of €5M or more.
