System Engineer @ DP World
AMKP04181
Function
With an ambitious digital and infrastructural transformation, DP World aims to strengthen its position as an innovative and sustainable logistics player. To realize these strategic ambitions, it is crucial to organize the IT infrastructure to be future-proof and to increase its maturity.
The IT System Engineer is responsible for ensuring a stable, secure and scalable IT infrastructure within DP World – an environment where technological continuity directly affects operational and financial performance. The IT System Engineer designs, implements and maintains critical systems essential to the daily operation of the terminal, supporting 24/7 operations. The role is crucial in the continued digitization of the business, with automation, efficiency and standardization (such as ITIL and ISO) at its core. The IT System Engineer therefore takes active ownership of infrastructure components and makes structural contributions to the optimization of processes and systems. With a clear focus on reliability and proactivity, he or she automates repetitive tasks and thus increases efficiency within the team. Combining technical expertise with strong communication skills, this person builds bridges between IT, external vendors and various business stakeholders.
