Product Operations Lead @ Yesplan

AMM04286

Function

The Product Operations Lead strengthens the operational effectiveness, collaboration, and predictability within the product and engineering team. The purpose of this role is to establish clear structure, cadence, and decision-making that enable the team to work more efficiently, with greater focus and consistency.

You ensure that processes are well defined, roles are clearly articulated, and collaboration between product, engineering, design, and business runs smoothly and transparently. By identifying bottlenecks early, aligning expectations, and guiding cross-team workflows, you support a well-coordinated and reliable product development process.

Because you have enough technical understanding to grasp the context of the engineering team, you can contribute to discussions on feasibility, solution paths, and priorities. This helps you structure decisions and ensures the team works with realistic plans and shared insights.

This role creates the conditions for the team to work autonomously, clearly, and effectively: transparent workflows, a shared approach to prioritization, clear mandates, and a culture of open communication, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Tasks and responsibilities

People & Team operations

  • Establishing and maintaining a healthy team rhythm (planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, 1:1s).

  • Clarifying and enabling roles, responsibilities, and mandates within the product team.

  • Supporting team members in collaboration, professional growth, and ownership.

  • Promoting an open, trust-driven team culture with clear communication and constructive feedback.

  • Bridging the gap between technical and non-technical profiles to ensure everyone works with the same information and expectations.

Product operations & Alignment

  • Coordinating the full product development cycle: from ideation and analysis to release and evaluation.

  • Ensuring smooth collaboration between product, engineering, design, and other stakeholders.

  • Translating the product vision and strategic goals into achievable priorities and operational workflows.

  • Helping structure technical discussions and decisions by understanding context and asking the right questions.

  • Keeping roadmap, planning, and decision-making consistent, transparent, and predictable.

Process optimization & Continuous improvement

  • Analyzing and improving processes, team flows, and tools to enhance both operational and technical efficiency.

  • Identifying bottlenecks in collaboration, planning, or technical delivery and contributing to sustainable solutions.

  • Introducing feedback loops, measurement tools, and best practices that support quality and productivity, including technical quality assurance (e.g., release processes, testing flows).

  • Supporting a culture of learning, reflection, and continuous improvement — both in team dynamics and in technical ways of working.

Profile

  • You have experience in a product-focused or software environment, for example in roles such as product operations, product owner, project manager, team lead, or a similar position in which you improved processes, collaboration, and delivery.
  • You thrive in a context where multiple disciplines work together (product, engineering, design, business) and are comfortable coordinating or supporting these teams.
  • You have a proven track record of setting up or optimizing workflows, structures, and team rhythms.
  • You have enough technical understanding to follow conversations with engineers, grasp estimations, and contribute to discussions on feasibility and solution approaches.
  • Understanding how software is built, tested, and released (e.g., DevOps or release processes) is a clear asset.
  • Hands-on background experience in development is a strong plus.
  • Experience in a scale-up environment, a SaaS company, or an organization evolving toward greater maturity is highly valued.

Offer

  • Direct impact: a key role in which you help shape the way the product team works and see clear, visible results from your efforts.
  • People-centered culture: an organization built on trust, open communication, and autonomy.
  • Strong and committed team: work alongside colleagues with expertise, maturity, and a high degree of collegiality.
  • A balanced mix of structure and agility: Yesplan is large enough to operate professionally, yet small enough to stay flexible and move quickly.
  • Room for initiative and improvement: you get the freedom and support to elevate processes, collaboration, and team performance.
  • Meaningful product in an inspiring sector: contribute to software that truly adds value to the cultural field.
  • Healthy work-life balance: a flexible working environment with a strong focus on well-being and sustainable collaboration.
  • Growth opportunities: space to develop your skills in leadership, process optimization, and product development.
