IT Manager @ Easykit



To further digitize and professionalize the organization, Easykit is looking for a strategic IT Manager.
As a strategic IT professional you will translate the overarching goals of the organization into a clear IT strategy and vision.  This includes all aspects of IT within the organization, such as IT infrastructure, optimization and integration of different software systems, ERP, webshop, digitalization, project management, …  
You ensure that the IT activities are seamlessly aligned with the business goals and help the organization make optimal use of technological opportunities.

Duties and Responsibilities:

As IT Manager, you will have broad responsibility and a wide variety of tasks. These can range from strategic to more hands-on project management, digitization and automation.

This assignment includes: :

  • Developing and implementing a long-term IT strategy aligned with the business strategy and for this you will be in close contact with the various internal business owners (sales, purchasing, operations, marketing, HR and finance).
  • Managing the IT budgets
  • Managing the IT team
  • Monitoring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Prioritizing and managing IT projects, preparing a needs analysis, determining priorities, preparing a business case for management.
  • Maintaining relationships with external suppliers
  • Ensuring the availability, integrity and security of IT systems.

You work from the headquarters in Rotselaar but you also keep in touch with the 15 different branches in Flanders.


Experience and Background:

  • You have a Master's degree (or equivalent through experience) combined with at least 10 years of IT work experience, including at least 3 years as a manager. 
  • You already have experience as a project lead within various IT projects. 
  • Knowledge of Business Central is the icing on the cake!

  • Organizer: you are strong in setting up structures and working out procedures. You take hold of things and then follow them up. 
  • Liaison: you are a born (internal) networker who can easily connect with everyone in the organization from a people minded mindset.
  • Leader: you are a natural leader who is able to connect with people and create support through open communication and strong coaching skills. You can delegate without losing the overview.
  • Visionary: you not only think in the present but also in the future. You eagerly anticipate new opportunities and market developments.
  • Communicator: You can convey the complexity of an IT environment in clear and plain language. You detect and understand the needs of different departments and can translate this into a digital solution.

Language skills:

In addition to an excellent knowledge of Dutch, you also have a good command of French.
