Head of Software Engineering @ ProPlanner
AMKB04549
Function
The overall objective of the Head of Engineering role is to build, structure, and continuously optimize a mature, scalable, and people-oriented engineering organization at ProPlanner. In a phase of strong international expansion and robust revenue growth, this position serves as the crucial lever to transform the software engineering team from a fast-growing group into a well-oiled, sustainable organization. As the direct right hand of the CTO, you take full ownership of the human and operational capital within engineering, allowing technical leaders and architects to focus entirely on the technological vision. You directly add value by bringing structure, stability, and predictability to the way of working, without compromising the software company's agility and innovative drive. By guiding individual growth paths, team cohesion, and attracting the right talent, you create an environment where engineers perform at their best and commit to the organization long-term. As a bridge between engineering, product management, and customer success, you ensure clear expectations and streamlined collaboration across all departments. You raise overall delivery quality and credibility to a higher level, which is essential to meet the high demands of large international clients. In this way, the role makes a decisive and strategic contribution to realizing ProPlanner's European ambitions and overall scalability.
