Function
The role leads the evolution of the ICT landscape—spanning infrastructure, security, applications, and digital innovation—while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and value creation across the organization.
He/she will also be responsible for managing the team, the daily operations, the projects and the budget of the ICT & Digital Transformation Team.
The function is a combination of operational leadership of the ICT and Digital Transformation team and strategic innovation and implementing vision, aligned with the IT, business and the overall company vision.
Tasks and responsibilities:
Leadership:
- Develop and execute a forward-looking ICT and Digital Transformation strategy aligned with the Group’s mission and vision;
- Translate priorities into actionable programs and projects that enhance operational efficiency, data-driven decision-making, and customer experience.
Digital Transformation:
- Identify and evaluate digital technologies and platforms to enhance business processes;
- Oversee the implementation of digital tools and solutions, ensuring seamless integration with existing systems;
- Support delivery of cross-functional programs by leading and implementing digital solutions
ICT Governance & Operations:
- Ensure a secure, stable, and standardized ICT environment across all regions;
- Oversee ICT infrastructure, cybersecurity, and enterprise applications, ensuring compliance with internal policies and external regulations.
Financial & Vendor Management:
- Manage the ICT & DT budget and optimize investments in technology and services;
- Keep a close eye on the actual vs budgets of the internal improvement projects in PMO style;
- Establish partnerships with key vendors and ensure delivery of high-quality, cost-effective solutions.
Stakeholder Engagement:
- Act as an advisor to the CFO and executive leadership on technology and digital opportunities;
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure ICT initiatives support and accelerate business goals.
Profile
- You obtained a relevant higher degree in Computer Science/Information Technology or equivalent through experience;
- Approximately 5 years of experience in a similar position, preferably in an international context in a company with multiple entities;
- You have a good knowledge of ERP. Knowledge of MS D365 F&0 is a plus;
- You have experience in managing the delivery of application projects and always strive for pragmatic and business-oriented solutions;
- You have experience with managing project- and team budgets;
- You have experience as a people manager and know how to motivate, guide and manage your team;
- You have experience in setting out a vision, build a roadmap and make strategic decisions on application level;
- You have experience with change management and know how to guide a team/organization through transformations;
- As a leader you are able to act both strategically and on an operational level;
- You communicate in a smooth and open manner;
- You are willing to travel for short trips.
