Interim assignments typically range from 3 to 18 months, depending on the assignment. For bridging a vacancy, this is often 3-6 months, while complex transformations can take 12-18 months. We work flexibly and can extend or shorten the assignment based on your needs.

Knowledge transfer is a core component of any interim assignment. This includes documentation, training sessions, mentoring of team members and a structured exit with handover. We define this at the start and monitor it during the process to ensure that knowledge is retained after the interim manager’s exit.

The investment in an interim manager varies based on seniority, specialization and assignment complexity. Typically, it ranges between €800-€1500 per day for senior IT leaders. This may seem higher than a permanent employee, but you pay no recruitment, onboarding, fringe benefits or exit costs. Moreover, an experienced interim delivers immediate value.
