Function
As CIO, you are the driving force behind UVC Brugmann's digital transformation. You serve as the crucial bridge between technological innovation and the operational reality of a large hospital. You are a change facilitator who professionalizes the IT organization, increases digital maturity, and ensures that technology becomes a powerful lever for healthcare providers.
The essence of your role begins with a strong strategic partnership. As a full member of the Executive Committee, you will advise the CEO and the Medical Directors on how digitalization, data, and AI can contribute to achieving the hospital's objectives. You will also champion transformation and modernization. It's clear that there's a need for a CIO who can launch IT solutions for the future. Streamlining processes and the organization is also crucial in the digitalization process.
The CIO's goal is to lead and optimize the hospital's IT organization, creating the most optimal and secure digital landscape possible for patients, healthcare providers, referrers, and support staff, in accordance with the hospital's strategy and the (regional) strategic care plan.
Finally, you will act with a strong social impact. You will use technology effectively to improve the accessibility and quality of care for every Brussels resident. This will directly contribute to the hospital's social and academic mission, where innovation is always at the service of people.
Profile
- You have a Master's degree (Computer Science, Engineering, Commercial Engineering or Management).
- You have extensive experience in a strategic IT management role (CIO, CIO or Head of IT) within a complex, large-scale organization.
- You are a natural leader, bridge builder and change manager who inspires and coaches people through change.
- You think at the board level and translate complex business goals into a manageable IT roadmap, without losing sight of operational stability.
- You communicate clearly across all levels and have a visible presence on the various campuses to maintain contact with the organization.
- You are stress-resistant and have the necessary diplomacy
