IT Manager @ Studio 100
AMKP04324
Function
The purpose of this role is to optimally support Studio 100’s creative and operational processes through reliable, efficient, and future-oriented IT solutions. IT plays a crucial role as a facilitator of content creation and innovation, as an inspirer in the field of new technologies (such as AI), and as a trusted partner for day-to-day business processes.
The role contributes to the growth and professionalization of the organization by providing structure and governance without limiting the entrepreneurial spirit and creative freedom of employees. By bridging business and technology, the IT Manager enables Studio 100 to work faster, more efficiently, and more innovatively, while ensuring operational continuity.
Studio 100 has approximately 400 end users across multiple business units in Belgium, the Netherlands, and Germany. The IT department operates as a shared service center for the international organization, including support for IT & ERP, infrastructure, and ERP processes for animation productions in Australia. The scope of responsibilities includes several components:
Strategic focus: The IT Manager is responsible for developing and executing a strategic IT vision together with the COO, aligning investments with business objectives and relevant technological developments. He continuously optimizes processes, IT infrastructure, and digital solutions to increase organizational efficiency and agility. In addition, he manages vendor relationships, IT procurement, and budgets, and ensures the proper implementation of security, compliance, and IT governance.
Team and management: The IT Manager translates strategic objectives into concrete actions and monitors the progress of projects, budgets, and the IT vision. He leads the IT team (6 people) by coaching and professionalizing them, with a strong focus on growth and development. He encourages autonomy and fosters a culture of collaboration and mutual support.
Operational support: He coordinates and aligns IT activities across different countries, business units, and international teams, combining this with a flexible, hands-on approach to respond quickly and pragmatically to needs and changes.
Application landscape management: The IT Manager maintains and optimizes the Microsoft 365 environment (Windows/Mac) and oversees the rollout of Intune, including license and budget management. He also manages the core ERP system, Microsoft Dynamics 365, supported by functional analysts and an architect, and implements it across multiple business units and international teams. In addition, he supports Media Asset Management, internal app development, and the use of AI tools to improve both workflow efficiency and creative processes.
Infrastructure management: He manages three data centers—Schelle (on-premise), Zaventem (backup/DR), and Munich (international)—with synchronized data, balancing cloud and on-premise solutions to optimize cost efficiency and capacity. He also drives further professionalization of the IT architecture and data management.
Security, governance, and compliance: Finally, the IT Manager acts as the central point of contact for security across the entire group and reports directly to the audit committee. He implements ISO 27001 initiatives and measures to manage shadow IT and AI, and integrates cybersecurity and governance into both operational and strategic decision-making, with particular attention to international compliance.
Profile
For the role of IT Manager at Studio 100, we are looking for a flexible and mentally resilient professional with a solution-oriented and hands-on mindset. Experience with complex ERP environments, aligning between business units and international teams, and setting priorities in a dynamic, technologically demanding environment is essential.
In terms of practical arrangements, the role offers flexibility: working from home is possible up to two days per week, but due to the operational nature of IT, on-site presence will often be required. Travel is part of the role, including visits to the headquarters in Munich (approximately twice a year) and to international teams in Australia, particularly in the context of ERP projects and collaboration with local IT teams.
