IT Director @ Cinionic
Driving digital business transformation projects and initiatives in the domains of Operations, Innovation Team, and Sales & Marketing and contributing to the overall informatics strategy, governance and policy development of the expanding IT department.
You are the main contact for the business. You are responsible to create and maintain a fruitful cooperation network with your business partners in concern to ensure that business requirements are translated to effective IT solutions. Supporting and guiding business to be successful by creating innovative, efficient, and reliable solutions. The IT Director will also chair the program office (Digital Delivery Office), which includes CxO colleagues that will jointly decide on priorities and direction.
You will be the lead of the IT team and therefore be able to create and maintain overall IT strategy, guidelines, and operational models.
The overall IT team counts 4 employees with end responsibility for the IT Director.
Within this team four roles as developer, application support, network, business analyst are present today.
Application support: IT Cinionic Support, Monitor-Fix-Repair-Report, Train.
Network & Connectivity Specialist: Servers Monitor-Fix-Repair-Report, Security & Compliance.
Business Solutions Architect: Central expert core applications, Cinionic Beat & Projects.
Full Stack Developer: Core application customization.
As IT Director, your key responsibilities are:
People management of 4 persons (some recruitment needs)
Stakeholder management: Business partner, assessing business needs and adapting technologies to maximize the effectiveness of their operations. Manage the external partners.
Program management: Establish and operate productive and efficient IT services and solutions which support company’s strategy and targets
Responsible to oversee all IT Governance related activities within own area, to assure that the investments in IT generate business value, and to mitigate the risks that are associated with IT. Manage development backlog and turning business requirements into efficient and innovating IT solutions by leading development initiatives
Responsible of the IT budget = 1-2 m€ (planning, follow-up and control)
Prioritize and take initiative proactively for new IT solutions within the framework of the common business strategy and targets.
Understand the IT services that needs to be provided to business to mitigate the business risks (compliance, security and continuity)
Master degree in ICT / Computer Science or equivalent through experience
A similar experience as IT Manager or IT Director in a start-up or scale-up in a product oriented environment. Having managed an IT team in a similar context.
For this position, experience & attitude is key.
Solid experience in a business leading technology role, experience in international mid sized company

Ideally you are familiar in an entrepreneurial, international, process driven environment.
In terms of team management and leadership you can hold people accountable, manage external and internal team(s), building a broad skill set.

Knowledge of Architecture / integration / SalesForce / SAP ByD.
You complement the IT team in leadership, Project Management, Stakeholder management, Strategic / LT vision.
