As a Security & Governance Expert at COOP Apotheken, you are responsible for protecting the organization's IT infrastructure and sensitive data. Given the significant growth of the cooperative and the associated expansion and professionalization of strategic support services, including IT, your role is crucial. COOP is investing significantly in further digitalization and professionalization of IT to continue to offer high-quality services in a competitive market.
Your responsibilities include overseeing the implementation and maintenance of robust security measures, tailored to the growing complexity of the IT environment. You will ensure that all software applications are secured according to current standards, with a particular focus on securing sensitive patient data. In addition, you must ensure compliance with relevant regulations, including GDPR, NIS2 and other industry-specific standards.
You will work closely with IT colleagues to provide technical support, solve problems and maintain a stable and secure IT environment.
Profile
COOP Apotheken is looking for an IT security expert who can help the organization protect its IT infrastructure from cyberattacks and meet increasingly stringent security requirements. The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with a broad knowledge of IT security and a passion for finding solutions to complex technical problems.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Background: A bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, IT or a related discipline.
- Expertise: Extensive experience in network management and in-depth knowledge of various security solutions such as firewalls, endpoint security and authentication services.
- Certificates: Preferably the candidate holds certificates such as CCNA or CCNP.
Skills:
- Strong analytical skills to solve complex technical problems.
- Excellent communication skills to be able to inform both technical and non-technical staff.
- Proactive attitude and team spirit.
- Experience with ITIL principles is a plus.
- Knowledge of Dutch and English
