AMKP03946
Function
- Analysis: You analyze questions and issues, then collaborate with key users and the SAP implementation partner to explore possible solutions. By gathering relevant information and acting as a liaison between the business and the implementation partner, you ensure that needs are clearly communicated and necessary data is provided in a timely manner. With your functional knowledge of applications and processes, you also identify opportunities for optimization within the department’s SAP environment.
- Maintaining Roles and Rights: You map out the various tasks and processes within a department in detail, down to the transaction level, and define a structured role hierarchy. By creating and regularly updating a responsibility matrix, you ensure that employees are assigned the correct roles and rights in SAP based on their functions. This helps maintain appropriate access rights within SAP, contributing to a secure and efficient working environment.
- Training Key Users: You share your extensive knowledge of SAP modules with key users and business champions, enabling these departments to operate independently with SAP. You keep your own knowledge of SAP functionalities up-to-date, follow market developments, and train key users to enhance their SAP skills. Additionally, you explore new possibilities within SAP and transfer this knowledge to the organization to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Validating / Testing: In collaboration with key users and business champions, you validate and test the solutions delivered by the implementation partner. You check if the delivered work meets the specified requirements, perform unit tests and User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and document new functionalities. You also ensure clear communication with the business, resulting in high-quality work that meets end-user needs.
- Participating in Projects: You actively participate in projects within your field, supporting IT in optimizing information systems and data flows. You also assist the business and organization in improving business data and work processes, always adhering to the agreed terms and the company’s needs. Through your contribution, you continuously achieve optimizations that enhance the overall efficiency and effectiveness of the organization.
- Daily Support: You support daily operations by resolving support queries from key users, ranging from KIR (Keep It Running) questions to Change Requests (CR) for minor optimizations. This includes following up and analyzing tickets, estimating the required effort, working on change requests in collaboration with the implementation partner, and accurately recording and communicating queries and issues to the business. This helps ensure continuous adjustment and optimal, efficient service.
- Knowledge Building: You proactively build knowledge within the business domains for which you are responsible in SAP, aiming to continuously implement improvements. This involves keeping up with new SAP functionalities and innovations, attending relevant training courses, and self-studying new developments and market trends. You use this knowledge to implement innovative solutions that enhance the performance of the business domain.
