SAP Basis Specialist @ LLBG



As an SAP Basis Specialist, you are responsible for executing the application lifecycle management of various SAP solutions, monitoring their health, and adjusting as necessary to ensure performance and availability.

You will closely collaborate with business analysts and other stakeholders within IT-Operations to coordinate all activities related to the SAP landscape.

Tasks and Responsibilities

The role of the SAP Basis Specialist encompasses approximately 50% operational tasks and 50% project work.

  • You are responsible for the optimal functioning of all SAP solutions.
  • You handle installations, upgrades, monitoring, performance, and backup of SAP systems, including databases.
  • You monitor the system architecture with a focus on performance, scalability, and availability, working closely with all other disciplines.
  • You provide independent and team-oriented technical project support for implementations, migrations, and release changes.
  • You identify trends and provide advice on future architectural choices and infrastructure development.
  • You maintain a flexible work attitude towards ICT infrastructure maintenance, often performed outside regular office hours.


Experience and Background:

  • You have a master's/bachelor's degree or equivalent through experience.
  • You have more than 5 years of experience as an SAP Basis consultant.
  • You have experience with SAP HANA and Linux.
  • Experience with MS Azure and SAP Cloud Platform products is a plus.
  • You have experience in an international working environment.
  • You possess excellent written communication skills and the ability to articulate ideas and procedures clearly.
  • You have very good proficiency in Dutch and English.

  • You have a flexible work attitude.
  • Eager to learn, with a strong desire to acquire new knowledge and skills.

Language Proficiency:

  • You speak and write fluently in Dutch and English.
