Purpose of the position
The Project Manager plays a crucial role in ensuring successful project delivery and customer satisfaction. In this role you act as a bridge between the client and the Navitrans teams, ensuring that the project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the client's satisfaction.
Tasks and responsibilities
As a Project Manager you are responsible for monitoring the following three important components of a project: scope, budget and timing. You will manage your customer project teams with the aim of delivering the best possible quality and efficiency. You ensure correct and clear communication, both internally and with the customer. Furthermore, you are the leader of your team and can integrate and inspire everyone in the team. You are also responsible for the correct billing information of your customer projects, reporting and administration of your projects. Finally, you are responsible for smooth communication and cooperation with all your Navitrans colleagues.
Your typical tasks and responsibilities include:
- Client relationship management: Understanding client needs, defining project scope, and maintaining open communication.
- Project planning and execution: Creating project plans, assigning tasks, managing risks, and monitoring progress. Participate in internal and external meetings, covering communication with teams, customers, and partners.
- Team management: Leading and motivating teams, resolving conflicts, and identifying skill development opportunities.
- Technical expertise: Understanding SaaS solutions and collaborating with technical teams to meet client needs.
- Project organization: Handling administrative tasks, project registration, document preparation, and checking timesheets for invoicing.
- Delivery and post-project support: Overseeing software implementation, ensuring client satisfaction, and initiating post-project support.
Profile
You are an experienced IT project Manager, with a professional background in WMS, TMS, ERP, CRM or similar IT solution offerings and application implementation tracks.
You are very accurate and thus efficiently monitor budget, scope, timing of projects. You possess the necessary knowledge of best practices in project management methodologies (Agile, Prince2,…) and are used to working with project tools such as JIRA.
You have some excellent stakeholder management skills, as you like to communicate, prioritize and coordinate. You have a commercial mindset.
Likewise, you are able to coach and motivate team members. For you, the team takes precedence, as you achieve success together.
Affinity with the transport or warehousing sector is an asset. You are prepared to travel if necessary in the context of the projects.
Professional expertise in Dutch and/or English is required. Other languages are a plus.
