Function
Purpose of the position.
The Project Manager is responsible for managing and efficiently and performantly rolling out various projects within Meat&More arising from business needs. This includes the full project cycle: from the start-up phase, definition and analysis to the design, construction, roll-out and aftercare of the projects. The Project Manager is responsible for leading the project team, monitoring progress (within scope, timing and budget) and resolving issues that arise during the project. The Project Manager has a direct impact on the successful implementation of key strategic projects within Meat&More. The proper execution of these projects is critical to the continued growth of the company.
Duties and responsibilities.
- You take responsibility for one or more implementation projects for different departments (Production, Distribution, Sales, as well as support services such as IT, HR, Marketing, etc.). You coordinate the projects from A to Z;
- You do research on the project scope. You challenge the business in their requirements;
- You define the project scope, timing, efforts, costs and resources based on the project needs;
- Assemble the project teams and provide initial briefings;
- You monitor the predefined objectives (scope, timing and budget) and adjust where necessary;
- You are point of contact for external suppliers (if applicable);
- You coach internal employees involved in projects;
- You are responsible for the administrative handling of projects;
- You apply project management methodology and project standards;
- You develop strong relationships with stakeholders.
Profile
Experience and background
- You have a higher education and at least 5 years of relevant experience in project management;
- You have experience in IT projects as well as projects outside of IT. You are a generalist with broad experience in project management.
- Experience with project methodologies such as Prince2, ITIL, or PMBok is desirable;
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset. Preferably you have worked as an internal project manager, but consulting experience is also welcome if you have a generalist background.

Language Skills
- Fluent in both spoken and written Dutch.
- Good command of English is a plus.
