Function
The Power Platform Specialist will be responsible for a wide range of tasks within the Microsoft Power Platform, with a strong focus on Power Apps & Power BI. Although another colleague is currently responsible for Power BI, knowledge of Power BI remains a definite plus for the new specialist. The Power Platform is the connecting link between Crop's and its data. Therefore, they are looking for a true Power Platform Specialist to seamlessly integrate and manage it. As a Power Platform Specialist, together with your colleagues, you will play a key role in the realisation of Crop's IT and digital roadmap. You are responsible – from a customer-oriented approach – for adequately translating the business requirements into an optimal solution that matches Crop's (digital) needs and supports external partners and key users in projects and complex questions.
In addition, implementing new technologies and following technological trends leads to innovative solutions. Consider, for example, the use of Blockchain to track and provide the entire food product supply chain with the highest level of transparency and traceability. Or the use of AI to take production processes to the next level, for example (such as monitoring and optimising machines by using sensors and machine learning algorithms, …). As a Power Platform Specialist, you will have the opportunity to work out, shape and implement projects yourself and apply creativity and innovation.
Crop's has the ambition to establish a new competence centre, including one for the Microsoft Power Platform. With this, Crop's aims to intensify the use of the Power Platform to support diverse projects and integrate with their existing systems. The aim of this role is to fully exploit the potential of the Microsoft Power Platform and ensure that the organisation can achieve efficiency and innovation through advanced automation and data management.
Duties and responsibilities
Crop's is a leading food company with a passion for delivering high-quality frozen foods to consumers worldwide. To strengthen the team, they are looking for a Power Platform Specialist to support data-driven decision-making, improve business insights as well as be responsible for designing, developing and implementing automated workflows using the Microsoft Power Automate platform.
This includes understanding the needs of business stakeholders, identifying process improvements, creating workflows that meet requirements and developing and maintaining custom built applications and integrating software solutions and providing IT infrastructure and network support.
Profile
Experience and background
- You have at least a Bachelor or Master degree in a relevant field, such as business administration or computer science.
- You have a strong knowledge of Microsoft 365, Power Platform/ Power Automate (Flow, Automate, Power Apps and Power BI).
- You have excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
- You are able to lead projects independently, from design to implementation.
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- You are a team player with a proactive and results-oriented mindset.

Languages
You can express yourself fluently in Dutch and/or English. Knowledge of French is a bonus.
