The Power BI Analyst plays an important role in improving efficiency, creating interactive dashboards and increasing organisational productivity. Overall, the Power BI Analyst plays a vital role in transforming Crop's raw data into valuable insights and reports that help them make data-driven decisions. You will learn about business processes and get opportunities to collaborate with different departments. You will come into contact with diverse people and diverse views.
As a Power BI Analyst, together with your colleagues, you play a key role in the realisation of Crop's IT and digital roadmap. You are responsible – from a customer-oriented approach – for adequately translating the business requirements into an optimal solution that meets the (digital) needs of Crop's and support the external partners in projects and key-users with complex questions. Crop's is a leading food company with a passion for delivering high-quality frozen foods to consumers worldwide. To strengthen the team, they are looking for a Power BI Analyst to support data-driven decision-making and improve business insights. As a Power BI Analyst at Crop's, you will play a crucial role in translating data into valuable information that optimises business performance and helps them achieve their goals.
- Data collection and analysis: Collect, monitor and analyse business data from various sources to gain insights relevant to business operations. You will be responsible for understanding user needs and developing effective data models.
- Reporting and visualisation: Design and develop interactive dashboards, reports and visualisations in Power BI. You will ensure that data is presented in a clear and understandable way so that users can easily understand the data and identify trends.
- Data management: responsible for establishing and maintaining a reliable data infrastructure. You will work with the IT department to ensure that data sources are properly integrated and data quality is maintained.
- Data validation and interpretation: Checking and validating data to ensure reports and analysis are accurate and reliable. You will interpret data and translate it into actionable insights and recommendations for management.
- Collaboration: Work in close collaboration with various stakeholders, such as finance, marketing, sales and operations teams, to understand data needs and provide solutions that meet their specific requirements.
- Support and training: Support users in understanding and using Power BI reports and dashboards. You will provide training and guidance to colleagues to promote the use of Power BI and increase data awareness within the organisation.
Profile
- You have at least a Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as business administration, computer science or data analytics.
- You have strong knowledge and experience with Power BI, including designing and developing dashboards and reports.
- Knowledge of data modelling and writing complex DAX queries is an asset but not a requirement.
- You have experience with data collection, validation and interpretation.
- You have excellent analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems.
- You have strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- You are a team player with a proactive and results-oriented mindset
