Function
As Master Data Coordinator, you are responsible for:
- Supporting and coordinating master data projects: You are responsible for coordinating projects where master data plays a central role. This involves monitoring progress, actively contributing to execution, and ensuring accurate documentation of processes and decisions. You have both an executive and a coordinating role.
- Analyzing data and processes: You perform analyses on data and processes to support decisions and identify and mitigate potential risks. You critically examine which data is needed and how it can be used optimally within the organization.
- Collaborating with other departments on Master Data: You answer questions from other departments based on the data available in the system. You provide support for specific issues, such as clarifying data or resolving incidents that fall outside of standard procedures.
- Creating instructions and manuals: For changes resulting from projects or other requests, you create clear instructions and manuals for team members. This ensures that everyone on the team is aware of the latest developments and can work efficiently.
- Taking proactive initiative: You take the initiative to optimally utilize the team's expertise and experience to achieve maximum results within your projects. You are constantly looking for improvement points and ways to further optimize processes.
- Improving efficiency: You not only work on improving your own efficiency, but also strive to optimize the efficiency of the entire master data team. You do this through continuous improvement of work processes and the implementation of new ideas that lead to faster and more accurate data processing.
- Supporting and backing up the Master Data Administrator: You support the Master Data Administrators in their daily tasks and act as a backup during absences. This requires knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems to ensure the continuity of the team.
- Collaborating with IT and other teams: Although you are not part of the IT team, you work closely with them on specific projects such as the integration of new systems (e.g., scanners in branches) and the optimization of data processes. You must be able to understand and resolve technical issues in collaboration with the IT department.
- Ensuring data quality: You play an important role in improving data quality within Meat&More. This means not only correcting errors in the data but also actively considering how to prevent similar problems in the future.
- Contributing to strategic projects: You participate in various strategic projects aimed at further digitizing and automating the organization. This includes managing inventory data in SAP, controlling printers and labelers, and improving processes related to plant maintenance.
- Executive tasks within technical projects: In addition to your coordinating role, you also participate in executive tasks such as testing equipment and systems (e.g., label printers and scanners). This practical aspect ensures that you build in-depth knowledge of the processes and systems within the organization.
- Advising and sparring with the business: You act as an analytical sparring partner for various departments, advising them on data-related questions and helping them develop efficient solutions for complex problems.
- Building reliable and high-quality master data: Your role is crucial in the further development of reliable and high-quality data within Meat&More. This is an important pillar in the organization's evolution towards a data-driven working environment.
Profile
Experience and Background
- Academic level: You have a master's level of reasoning and possess strong analytical skills that you use to solve complex problems.
- Relevant experience: Experience with master data, ideally in a production context, is a strong asset.
- ERP experience: You have some experience with an ERP package and can work smoothly in a data-driven environment.
- IT affinity: A general affinity for IT is desirable, especially in combination with extensive knowledge of Excel and the Office suite.
- Critical and accurate: A critical eye and a high degree of accuracy are essential in this role.
- Independent and team-oriented: You can work independently but also function well within a team and enjoy collaborating to achieve common goals.
- Coordinating ability: You can coordinate projects and tasks and maintain an overview while working efficiently with other departments.
