Function
As IT Workplace System Engineer you play an integral role within La Lorraine Bakery Group, working with fine colleagues to manage the global IT endpoint infrastructure.
Within the IT Operations team in Ninove, you are the indispensable link providing continuous 24/7 support.
As a Workplace System Engineer, you are responsible for both the office environment and the production environment, including the terminals. This means that you have a broad responsibility and make sure that all IT processes run smoothly, be it the traditional office workstations or the specialized production terminals.
You will carry ownership and responsibility for the entire endpoint infrastructure and environment.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The role of Workplace System Engineer includes approximately 30% operational support, 30% design/governance elaboration/optimization and 40% project work.
- You think along with the business to devise and implement solution-oriented workflows and cost-efficient solutions.
- You ensure an optimal image for both production terminals and office computers.
- You manage the current endpoints within LLBG with modern management tools, such as Intune and SCCM, and you ensure optimal protection (patch management).
- You are partly responsible for application management on the clients.
- You will be responsible for optimizing the processes for on- and offboarding of employees.
- You support interesting ongoing as well as challenging new projects.
- You act as 2nd or 3rd line support for all problems and incidents of your technologies.
- You will be engaged in on-call service (maximum 1 week per month, from 6 months of employment).
- You are an expert in the Office 365 tools such as MS Teams, Sharepoint, PowerAutomate, Flow and OneDrive and you ensure proper governance for these applications.
Profile
Experience and Background:
- You have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent through experience.
- You have at least 5 years of experience as a System Engineer Office 365 or a similar position in an international environment.
- You have a broad IT knowledge with focus on workplace & end-user computing.
- You are familiar with MS Intune, Windows 10 and 11, Sharepoint, OneDrive, Teams, Flows, Azure AD, AD, Identity management, PowerAutomate, PowerApps, …

Language Skills:
You speak and write fluent Dutch and English, a good basic knowledge of French is indicated.
