Function
As the IT Project Manager, you will be the driving force behind the major technology transformations, bringing together people, processes and technology. You will report directly to the Director of Global IT.
Responsibilities:
In the role of IT Project Manager, you will:

Lead the IT project and IT change process. Create, monitor and execute the project plan to ensure timely delivery of the agreed project objectives within agreed cost.

Organize regular project team meetings to ensure that business, IT and external IT team members implement, test and validate business processes, impact and risk action plans, training plan, IT application and infrastructure.

Facilitate the project intake, help organize and cluster the project portfolio to execute the projects with the highest return in the right order, considering available IT and business capabilities.

Support, coach and evaluate project resources, both internal and external to enable successful project execution.

Guide the project request through all phases, from business case through project delivery, enabling progress reporting to the IT steerco and the extended organization.

Create unit, string and integration test plans to ensure a high-quality outcome.

Identify critical project dependencies and business risks and implement mitigation plans. Report risks and mitigation actions on the IT steerco and to the appropriate stakeholders.

Perform stakeholder analysis and involve the necessary change agents to minimize resistance to change following process and organizational changes.

Budget, plan and follow up the expenditures and purchasing processes together with the IT Asset Coordinator to ensure timely delivery of the necessary resources.

Continuously evaluate project outcome and KPI’s to improve the IT project or change process performance and ensure continuous improvements.
Profile
Background and experience:
- Master or Bachelor degree in IT, business economics (or equivalent through experience)
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in IT project management or digital transformation. Proven experience in introducing new technologies in the business and organizational change.
- Adequate understanding of generic business processes and operations in a manufacturing context as well as IT technologies and applications are a must. Experience in the automotive industry is considered a plus.
- Knowledge of the SAP and Microsoft technology stack.
- Excellent project management skills on planning, presentation, reporting and leadership. You consider KPI’s as the indicator of your project's progress.
- Strong interpersonal skills to mobilize stakeholders at all levels of the organization on all sites globally. Willing and able to travel on a project base.
- Pragmatic, proactive and solution driven team player in a global and multicultural organization.

Flawless oral and written English is a must. Dutch, Spanish or Chinese is a plus.
