The current IT team, led by the CIDO has 130 employees. In addition, certain projects and services are also outsourced to external partners. The IT & Digital team's mission is to create a modern and high-performing digital landscape in order to contribute effectively and scalably to Group S's strategic business goals. 

The IT PMO Manager will assume a new key role in establishing and centrally driving IT project and programme operation. Improving project operation is a key part of the group's digital transformation, with business and IT working very closely together.

As IT PMO Manager, you are responsible for managing and streamlining project management processes at Group S. You are responsible for coaching and training team leaders and project managers on project approach and methodology. You take care of a central inventory of projects and provide insight into the bandwidth, both in terms of staffing, budget, external resources, etc.
You will orient the current, extremely agile operation towards a more structural agile operation, including more standardised ways of project estimation, preparation, follow-up and reporting.

You will help shape the role, operation of the team and prioritisation in tasks.

Profile

You have IT project management skills to deliver projects with available resources, within time and budget. You have an in-depth understanding of project management methodologies, tools and techniques. This includes knowledge of both agile and traditional project management approaches.

You can lead, inspire and motivate a team. This includes decision making, conflict resolution and fostering a positive team culture.

You can define a vision and strategy, set goals, give direction to the team and motivate people to reach their full potential. You are also strong at communicating and encourage collaboration. Strong oral and written communication skills are crucial. An IT PMO Manager must be able to communicate clearly with team members, managers and other stakeholders.

You have the ability to analyse and understand complex information, such as project data, budgets and resource planning. Analytical thinking helps in making informed decisions. You play an important role as an advisor to IT Management.

You are energetic and optimistic by nature. With a pragmatic and people-oriented approach, you can grow your team in a positive way and introduce change to the team and the organisation.  

Active native knowledge of at least 1 of the national languages (Dutch/French), as well as a professional level of the other (if necessary: internal trainings are also provided for).
