Aangesloten sensoren en actuatoren maken het mogelijk om inefficiënties en problemen eerder op te pikken en tijd en geld te besparen, terwijl ze tegelijkertijd de business intelligence-inspanningen ondersteunen. Er is een grotere mate van kwaliteitscontrole, duurzame en groene praktijken, traceerbaarheid van de toeleveringsketen en algehele efficiëntie van de toeleveringsketen mogelijk.
De productiesite in Wielsbeke gebruik jij als blauwdruk voor het uitrollen van Industrie 4.0 voor het standaardiseren en automatiseren van alle andere productiefaciliteiten.
Als IIoT Architect heb jij de volgende taken en verantwoordelijkheden:

Als IIoT Architect ben je de expert over het IIoT platform (Cumulocity) en ben je verantwoordelijk voor de visie, strategie en end-to-end architectuur van het platform, zodanig dat de verschillende business units uit de productiesite in Wielsbeke (deze units zijn vergelijkbaar met Squads in het Agile Spotify Model) op een uniforme wijze het platform kunnen implementeren in de business.
Taken:
- Je neemt de leiding over het IIoT platform en tekent de architecturale guidelines uit zodat het platform future proof wordt;
- Je begrijpt de business, de behoeften van de business en vertaalt deze naar IIoT oplossingen. Hierbij daag je de business owners uit om tot de juiste oplossing te komen en focus je op het bedrijfsresultaat;
- Je bent de Unilin IIoT expert van het Cumulocity IIoT platform en werkt nauw samen met Software AG en de implementatiepartner;
- Bij de start van initiatieven definieer je de IIoT architectuur voor de oplossingen en je coacht de IIoT-engineers en IIoT-ontwikkelaars wanneer zij de oplossing gaan implementeren;
- Als domein expert geef je advies aan de project en agile teams wanneer nodig;
- Je blijft op de hoogte van de nieuwe IIoT trends, technologie en uitdagingen. Je promoot het Cumulocity IIoT platform en begrijpt de product roadmap;
- Je werkt nauw samen met de andere architecten (data & analytics, MES, industrial automatiseringen, …) en de manufacturing domain architect om de consistentie van de architectuur in het hele bedrijf te waarborgen;
- Je werkt samen met nieuw overgenomen bedrijven om hun architectuur te integreren in de Unilin template.
Profile
- You have a university degree in business administration, engineering, economics, computer science or equivalent by experience;
- Min. 3 years of experience in technical design, development and implementation of technology solutions in the business domains of manufacturing operations and related areas;
- You are passionate about how new IT technology creates value in our manufacturing sites;
- Ability to influence business stakeholders, product owners towards standards and harmonization goals;
- Good exposure to process automation, data acquisition/management, advanced analytics and reporting/dashboards, as well as system integration challenges/techniques in general;
- Strong exposure to Manufacturing Operations Management solutions, including Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), Industrial Internet of Things (IIoT), Production Planning and Scheduling and Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE);
- Experience within an industrial environment, including interactions with operations teams (operators, process engineers, production engineers) and ways of working at the shop floor level;
- Experience with operational technology (OT) (Scada, DCS, PLC, historians, etc.);
- Experience in .NET development projects and Microsoft Azure for data & analytics;
- Understanding of IT and OT cyber security standards.
