Function
The Group IT Manager determines the IT strategy regarding further optimization, automation and digitization of the organization and systems, whereby the priorities and available budgets are determined in consultation with the steering group.
The Group IT Manager will translate the business objectives into a concrete IT strategy. He/she will be responsible for defining the various projects and monitoring their implementation.
The Group IT Manager is responsible for the organisation, management and coordination of the operational IT department. He/She is ultimately responsible for IT infrastructure at the level of Dossche Group, and functional systems (applications) at the level of
the Business Unit Dossche Mills.
As a People Manager, the Group IT Manager develops a vision and you guide a team in function of the objectives to be achieved.
Tasks and responsibilities:
- Together with the IT steering group, you determine the IT priorities for Dossche GroupMills and Bakery) in the field of Infrastructure and you ensure that these are implemented with the available and agreed resources;
- You are responsible for implementing the appropriate functional systems to support the growth ambitions of the Business Unit Dossche Mills;
- Together with your team you are responsible for:
Business Unit Dossche Mills:
– Mapping out the needs of the business and translating these into system solutions;
– Analyzing and optimizing existing processes and systems;
– An efficient operation of the master data process and central management of SAP master data.
Dossche Group:
– Ensure the continuous availability of IT infrastructure and functional systems;
– IT security and the implementation and compliance with the GDPR rules;
– Ensuring a robust internal control environment. - You are responsible for the choice criteria, selection and management of external IT partners. You ensure professional coordination of internal and external IT resources;
- From your role you operate at a strategic level, where you make proposals to the steering group for the further optimization of Group IT. You will be given a mandate and there will be room for your own initiatives.
Profile
- You are a hands-on IT manager with experience in a production context and broad experience in SAP, process improvements and project management;
- You have (preferably) a Master's degree and at least 15 years of IT experience, of which 5 years at management level in an operational environment (production and distribution);
- You have experience with the functional design of SAP in a production company;
- You are familiar with process and system optimisations;
- You have experience integrating acquisitions from a Process/IT point of view;
- You are proactive, diplomatic and have a great sense of responsibility and take initiative;
- You work autonomously and you like to tackle problems yourself;
- You communicate smoothly, are highly organized and work systematically;
- You are willing to travel frequently to different locations.
