The Global IT Partner Manager at Manuchar is responsible for managing the company's technology partnerships. This includes optimizing the value and cost of technology assets while minimizing risks.
The role is responsible for the entire technology life cycle, from selection to operation, refresh, migration, optimization, retirement, and disposal. You will report directly to the Global IT Governance Manager and will be responsible for global IT procurement and sourcing projects across various areas such as managed services, software, hardware, telecoms and professional services.
The Global IT Partner Manager will work with stakeholders to understand objectives and ensure best value solutions are commissioned through a consistent and transparent process. The job opening is for a new role in the organization and is intended to bring IT Partner & Procurement experience and a clear and uniform global IT Partner & Procurement approach to support the digitization of Manuchar.
Profile
For this position, we are looking for an experienced IT procurement expert with the following background:
A bachelor’s or master’s degree combined with relevant experience in partner management and/or IT procurement (5-10 years).
- Legal expertise and contractual knowledge.
- Basic knowledge of software & hardware, cloud and telecoms
- Good knowledge of commercial models and approaches/techniques necessary to achieve effective IT sourcing arrangements together with the markets which make up the IT sector is necessary.
- Commercially astute who is comfortable engaging with various levels of stakeholders internally to buy in to all procurement activity. You have the capability to influence senior management thinking and developing commercially sound solutions.
- As a practiced negotiator, you possess a track record of successfully negotiating commercial arrangements with suppliers and you are experienced in developing specifications and negotiating arrangements with suppliers. Competent in developing evaluation methodologies.
- Able to communicate effectively with effective written, verbal and presentation skills.
- Able to work effectively as part of a team and be able to take responsibility for completing matters under deadline.
- Able to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing environment without losing our eye for detail. Strong problem-solving skills; comfortable tackling complex problems and breaking these down into manageable pieces. Conceptual and practical thinking and implementation skills.

For the position, we expect a candidate to be fluent in English and Dutch. Any knowledge of Spanish and/or Portuguese is a big plus.
