Function
- You will build in-depth knowledge about the banking applications in CKV's IT landscape and share it with end users, IT colleagues and business stakeholders. You start with the application mBanq (deposit) and expand to internally developed modules, data integrations and the new application AroTRON for credit management that is under construction.
- You work closely with business stakeholders to identify needs and work out requirements for new or changed functionality in the applications.
- You work closely with developers (internal or external) to transform requirements into a supported, realistic solution.
- You take the lead to test and validate developments in cooperation with business stakeholders.
- You ensure a smooth go-live of functionality in cooperation with all stakeholders.
- You help clarify the priorities of the various requirements.
- You ensure the smooth running of existing applications, you help in the second line to bring incidents to a good conclusion and you notice improvements that can be taken into account.
- Your approach is characterized by common sense, accuracy and pragmatism. You are not a puritan in terms of methodology, but you are inspired by known best practices and follow a working method that is supported by colleagues and adequate for the purpose. In doing so, you provide necessary documentation for the team and business stakeholders.
Profile
Experience and Background.
- Working experience in an IT environment with exposure to business processes, implementation of business systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, logistics system,…).
- Experience in banking applications is not a must, interest in the financial world and affinity with financial products is.
- Proven track record in self-organization and self-taught.
- Affinity with IT technical aspects such as SQL is a plus.
- Fluency in communicating with business stakeholders and IT colleagues.

- Strong analytical skills, complemented by a healthy assertive attitude.
- Take ownership, be decisive with a hands-on approach.
- Ability to set priorities.
Languages
- Fluent in Dutch and good knowledge of English.

CKV (Centrale Kredietverlening) is a Belgian savings bank operating across Belgium since 1956. The company has its headquarters in Waregem, where its 70 employees also work. The company also offers traditional savings products sold through independent savings bank agents and the fintech platform Zinspilot.de. CKV is an unlisted, independent and stable bank that is fully self-financing by using its customers' deposits to fund loans.
CKV's mission as a bank is to provide financial solutions to individuals and businesses whose specific situation makes it difficult or impossible for them to find this solution. CKV helps them with a customized solution so that they can maintain or gain the necessary perspective, this in Belgium and France in niches where the traditional large banks are not active. With some 1.3 billion euros, CKV is the smallest bank, measured in terms of total assets, but big in its approach. It specializes in tailor-made solutions for mortgage-backed loans, for both private and professional purposes. For example, CKV has no age limit for taking out a mortgage loan and also helps clients who are in a debt arrangement, or are temporarily experiencing difficulties in clearing VAT or rsz debts, for example.
