The purpose of this position is to strengthen the growth of the team and to bring additional experience on board. In addition to your knowledge in development, it is also the intention to proactively search for solutions in order to realize Sofico's growth. As a developer within Sofico, you will be part of a multi-disciplinary team that is responsible for translating specific customer questions into technical realizations. In this position, you can grow on a technical, commercial and communicative level.
Your most important responsibilities are:
- You will be introduced to the many dimensions of the extensive software package;
- You will help with the optimization of the existing solutions as well as with the development of new modules;
- You will work on Sofico's latest service offering (further development of private leasing, bicycle leasing, mobility budget…);
- You contribute to the data architecture (using relational databases);
- Scrum (Agile) is worked at Sofico. For planning and follow-up, tools such as Jira and MS Projects are used.
During your onboarding, you will in the first place be able to contact an appointed mentor (each new colleague will be accompanied by a mentor for the first six months). Of course you will also be able to contact the other colleagues and the practice lead (Jonthan Bardyn). After six months, a job performance review will also be carried out by your mentor, the practice lead a unit coach. The team works very closely together and because of experienced people there is a very flat structure.
When projects come in, you look at them together with the Project Manager concerned, on the one hand to focus on your strengths and on the other hand, depending on the timing and planning, to introduce you to type projects and technologies with which you are less familiar, so that your personal development gets a boost.
