Function
The Application Specialist plays a pivotal role in managing all production-related applications, particularly the ERP package Priamos. Working closely with the Business Application Owner, the Application Specialist serves as the primary point of contact for resolving technical issues within CRH-SCB's application landscape. This position ensures that all employees are adequately trained, that updates are rolled out and implemented flawlessly, and ultimately, that production never comes to a standstill.
Profile
CRH Structural Concrete Belgium is seeking a motivated IT professional with a passion for technology to join their team. The ideal candidate will have a strong IT background, experience in a production environment, and excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement effective IT solutions to support business objectives
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and design solutions
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT issues in a timely and efficient manner
- Maintain and update IT systems and documentation
- Stay up-to-date on the latest IT trends and technologies
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in IT or a related field
- Experience with SQL, report generators, masterdata, and .NET
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
- Passion for technology and a desire to learn new things
- Fluency in Dutch and English; knowledge of French and/or German is a plus
