To continue making a meaningful difference for customers and consumers in demanding times, it is increasingly important to automate and enhance core processes using the right and modern digital systems and technological solutions.

As an Application Expert, you play a key role in optimizing the work processes within production across all different sites. This includes streamlining operational activities and implementing best practices to increase efficiency and productivity. Additionally, as an Application Expert, you are part of the project team responsible for migrating the ERP system to the Cloud. This transition, which needs to be realized across the 12 different production sites, contributes to the continuous improvement, innovation, and growth within What's Cooking, ultimately leading to better business results and higher customer satisfaction.

Correct operation, management, and improvement of ICT applications:

  • As an Application Expert, you ensure the correct operation of applications related to production.
  • You are responsible for managing and improving ICT applications to continuously support business needs and optimize work processes.

Control and Maintenance:

  • You check the proper functioning of several ICT applications daily.
  • You resolve technical problems that arise.
  • You perform maintenance tasks to ensure the correct operation of applications.

Migration of ERP to Cloud:

  • You are responsible for a complete gap analysis to provide an overview of elements present and missing in the production sites.
  • You are physically present on-site during crucial phases of implementation to provide support.
  • You train key users at the production sites.

Active contribution to process improvement:

  • As an Application Expert, you contribute to improving the use of applications.
  • You actively think about process improvements, considering:
    • Technical feasibility
    • Maintainability
    • Continuity
    • Integrity of solutions

Implementation and Support:

  • You roll out applications together with the team lead, taking responsibility for guiding and developing test scenarios and go-live scenarios.
  • Simultaneously, you monitor the configuration and parameter settings of the applications.
  • You take on a coaching and supportive role towards users, coaching and helping users with the correct use of applications.
  • You focus on enhancing users' skills and self-sufficiency.

Developing and Maintaining Business Applications:

  • You develop and maintain business applications such as:
    • Screens
    • Reports
    • Batch processing
    • Interfaces
    • Uploads
  • Additionally, you ensure uniform and smooth operation of these applications.

Specifications and Execution:

  • In the case of custom development or customization, you discuss specifications with colleagues or external partners.
  • You guide the implementation of changes to quickly implement them.

Acquiring Deeper Technical Insight:

  • You are responsible for the correct operation, management, and improvement of various IT applications such as:
    • ERP
    • Interspec
    • AP/AS Planning
    • WMS
    • EDI
  • To this end, you acquire a deeper technical insight into the active applications to support business needs and optimize work processes.

Implementing ERP Application Software:

  • You implement ERP application software at various European production sites.
  • You manage the data and databases that the ERP system uses.
  • You ensure the continuity, integrity, and proper functioning of all business processes that use the ERP system and related systems.

Profile

Requirements

  • You have a university-level thinking ability
  • At least 5 years of relevant work experience in a production or industrial environment
  • At least 5 years of experience in IT or business analysis
  • You have experience with ERP and MS365 Y
  • You are capable of meticulously documenting business processes
  • Providing training is not a problem for you

Language skills

  • You have a good command of Dutch and English. Knowledge of French is an absolute plus.
