Function
The role of the DevOps Engineer at Harmoney aims to continuously enhance the platform, which focuses on digitizing customer-centric processes, by leveraging new technologies and adapting to change. As a DevOps Engineer, one of the primary objectives is to automate existing DevOps processes to support the Engineering Teams. This involves implementing efficient workflows and ensuring quality and control. Automation helps streamline tasks, allowing more time and attention to be dedicated to developing and improving the product. At Harmoney, streamlined processes are highly prioritized: "If a similar process needs to be executed twice, it’s effectively once too many," as they say. Automation and streamlined workflows are thus fundamental to Harmoney's effective operations.
In addition, the DevOps Engineer is involved in managing instances and clusters, both nationally and internationally, again with the goal of elevating efficiency. This may include identifying the need for additional platforms or infrastructure, where the DevOps Engineer plays a key role in proposing suitable solutions.
The position of DevOps Engineer at Harmoney provides an opportunity to make a significant contribution to the improvement and growth of the platform while supporting an organization in the midst of exponential growth. It requires technical expertise, innovative thinking, and the ability to collaborate with various teams and stakeholders.
The responsibilities of the DevOps Engineer are as follows;
- Problem Solving & Troubleshooting: You are a team player who enjoys automating DevOps processes and solving related technical issues. You analyze potential bottlenecks or problems in these processes and can resolve them effectively.
- CI/CD-Related Tasks: You are responsible for CI/CD tasks, including designing, implementing, and managing automated CI/CD pipelines.
- Process Optimization: As a specialist, you continuously evaluate the tools used within Harmoney and analyze their effectiveness. You are also encouraged to think proactively about introducing new tools and techniques to increase efficiency. A critical mindset and open-minded thinking are highly valued.
- Sharpening and Applying Expertise: You stay informed about new developments in the DevOps field and identify promising technologies that could enhance Harmoney's efficiency and effectiveness. Ownership is strongly encouraged in this area.
The DevOps Engineer plays a crucial role in Harmoney’s product development cycle. They are looking for someone who can help shape the roadmap for Harmoney’s infrastructure and DevOps initiatives while supporting the company’s growth journey. The role offers an exciting combination of both strategic and operational responsibilities. You are strongly encouraged to contribute to defining the framework and actively participate in developing the roadmap.
