Function
The Functional Analyst works closely with internal teams, external partners and stakeholders to ensure successful ERP implementation on the one hand and optimise business processes on the other.
As a Functional Analyst at DUCO, you will have the following duties and responsibilities:
- Translate logistics processes into specifications and usable IT solutions within the existing application landscape or select new applications.
- Responsibility for the planning and production processes in DUCO's application landscape.
- Act as a liaison between the business and the implementation partner.
- Advising the business on the operation of applications, identifying and creating new opportunities and optimisations in processes and applications.
- Performing small configurations and improvements, and directing external partners on larger projects.
- Testing applications, guiding the business in commissioning new functionalities and ensuring qualitative delivery of changes.
- Monitoring the architecture of the application landscape with regard to functionality, data and integration.
- Monitoring the proper functioning of the applications and acting as point of contact in case of problems.
- Keeping abreast of new developments in the field and contributing to DUCO's technological growth.
Profile
Experience and background
- Technical or industrial engineering background with IT knowledge (not limited to configuration)
- Experience in project-based implementation of improvements, including analysis, building, training and testing
- Natural interest in the ins and outs of a manufacturing company
- Experience in a modern ERP environment, preferably D365 F&O
- Experience in software implementations
- Strong communication skills with various parties
- Ability to prioritise and work in a team
- Experience with MES and WM systems
- Experience in application governance
- Willingness to work closely with partners, provide verification and critical sounding board
